Thank you San Francisco

The Critics, the Audience have spoken…

“Coopersmith offers audiences an escape into a melding of the world of film and live performance. And best of all, this show is life-affirming, where love always wins and life is filled with chocolate and wine!”

—Shari Barrett- Culver City News

“The collaboration of Coopersmith with composer Roxanna Ward has produced both solid tunes and utterly delightful ditties that has one wishing a CD had been on sale in the lobby.
The on-screen cast has been assembled with an eye to performers with musical theatre backgrounds and plain talent each of which pops off the screen and monitors with grand razzle-dazzle…… a lovely little show is showing us just how grand some dreams can be”

“ Absolutely magical!!What a terrific one woman show, with use of the video footage to coordinate with the live singing was seamless. The dialogue and singing together were very cleverly done and timing was spotless! The cast were top notch. I loved the message…. Girl overcoming her insecurity and blossoming into pure confidence was uplifting and inspiring. Thank you this was a terrific production!".”

“The moment on-screen Emma interacts with her creator is satisfying to watch and very slick. I also really enjoyed the idea that Emma had the power to influence her creation and change the direction of her story. This allows what initially seems to be a romantic tale of princes and love to become a message about female determination and empowerment.

Freya Stewart- EdFringe Review

“"If we give one star to Nina Herzog for her picture-perfect portrayal of the on-screen female lead, Emma, and her uplifting Disney Princess singing voice, we have to give the other two stars to Coopersmith herself. From the first minute of the show, her joyful enthusiasm carries the audience along on a journey of romance and creative self-exploration. Her performance is so earnest and genuine that it’s hard to witness the emotional struggles along the way without wanting to give her a hug."

“My Unauthorized Hallmark Movie Musical” allows us to escape into the magic of a romance movie fantasy and celebrate the joys of the Hallmark Channel.. Anne Runolfsson, who has spent the past 30 years working in the theater on Broadway, magically interacts with multimedia video performances by eight musical performers. It is fun to watch the interaction of the live actor with her characters in the filmed projections, even singing a duet with one. I liked the variety of the musical genres, and I found all of the musical tracks to be well-produced.”
